The Salisbury Bowls Club Inc. has been at its present location since 1976 when it was relocated from a site some 2km away.It was then known as the EDCO Bowls Club, this name having come from the Evans Deakin company who had given their employees permission to use company land to start a bowling club in 1942.

Since then the club has changed its name to Salisbury Community Sport Club and has become a big part of the community, hosting events such as the Maggie Markets, family fun days and many fundraisers.

Salisbury Community Sports Club Customer Testimonials

Thank you so much to Steve, Toni and Wendy for everything you did to help organize my 30th birthday at your club. The service was incredible, the staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is running smoothly and to see everyone having a great time — I couldn’t of ask for a better night. I highly recommend this club to anyone wanting to have a function or to even go and enjoy a relaxed dinner and drink and support the local community. Thank you so much again.

As a bowler and a club member, come and have a game of bowl with someone or by your self. Somebody in the club will gladly help you and the best part of it is it’s free and you can have as much fun as you want. Experience the fun of playing bowls but one last thing the beer isn’t free, but the bowls and the fun are. Try it if you don’t believe me.

Willo Steve Williams

Ben Torley

Food, drinks and dessert are well priced and service was good.

Went there today for a roll with the wife and kids. The guy that helped us out was awesome and made us feel at home. Next time I’m taking a big group to help support this great little club.

Adam Townsend

Lovely people and welcoming of us and our kids. It has a relaxed family vibe and great drink prices! We love being outside in the undercover area and all the seating around the greens. A great way to spend a chilled afternoon.

Cindy Kaye Harrington

Friendly and comfortable for the family. Meals are great and good prices. Karaoke is the best and the regulars make you feel welcome!
